boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Serve hot with seasoned croutons
and Parmesan cheese, if desired.

VEGETABLE-CHEESE SOUP

1 pkg (10-oz) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 small onion, diced
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp Italian seasoning blend
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1tsp chicken-flavored bouillon granules
1 cup water
1 cup fat-free milk
1/4 cup shredded low-fat process American cheese
2 tsp Dijon mustard

In a medium saucepan, combine thawed vegetables and diced onion. In a
small bowl, combine flour, Italian herb blend, salt and pepper, stirring
well to mix. Add flour mixture to vegetables and stir to coat well.
Dissolve bouillon granules in water and milk; add to saucepan, and bring
to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until mixture is
thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat to low and add cheese and mustard,
stirring to blend. Serve immediately.

6 servings of 1 cup each. Per serving: 80 calories, 12 g carbs, 5 g protein

Quick and Easy Meal of Crunchy Tilapia Strips, Homemade Potato Chips and a Salad in 30 Minutes

CRUNCHY TILAPIA STRIPS

1 lb tilapia, cut into 1 1/2-inch strips
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
fresh ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Spray a foiled-lined baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set
aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Pour milk into a small shallow bowl. In another small shallow bowl,
combine the corn flakes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and
salt. Dip tilapia strips into the milk then dredge in the cornflake
mixture to coat. Lay on the prepared baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees
for 10 to 12 minutes or until fish is cooked through.

HOMEMADE PARMESAN POTATO CHIPS

3 OR 4 small baking potatoes
2 tsp margarine, melted
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Dash of black pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Scrub potatoes and slice in thin slices. You should have about 2 cups of
sliced potatoes. Arrange slices in a thin layer in a lightly greased 15 x
10-inch baking pan. Brush with the melted margarine. Sprinkle the cheese
and pepper over potato slices. Bake, uncovered, in a 450 degree oven for
18 to 20 minutes or until the potatoes are brown and crisp.

BIBB LETTUCE AND HOMEMADE DRESSING

Note: This recipe serves 8. The two above recipes serve 4. If you are
making a meal for 4, cut this recipe in half.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 carton (8-oz) dairy sour cream
2 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp Italian seasoning
3/4 tsp celery salt
3/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
4 small heads Bibb lettuce
Milk, if needed

To make dressing: In a small mixing bowl, combine salad dressing or
mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, vinegar, sugar, Italian seasoning, celery
salt, dry mustard, garlic, and pepper. Using a wire whisk or rotary
beater, mix until smooth. Transfer dressing to a container with a lid,
cover and chill until serving time. Just before serving, cut each lettuce
head in half lengthwise. Arrange halves on a serving platter. If desired,
arrange some tiny tomatoes on the plate as a garnish. If dressing is too
thick, add a small amount of milk until of desired consistency. Pour
dressing over the salad.

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (fresh is better for the taste)
1 jar marinated artichoke hearts (drain before using)
4 slices lemon
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (don't use dried parsley)

Saute the mushrooms and garlic in butter until just about tender. Add the
shrimp and saute until shrimp is cooked (not translucent - but don't
overcook), about 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients (except the
lemon and fresh parsley) and heat thoroughly.

No-Bake Banana Split Dessert

4 large bananas
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 1/2 sticks of margarine, melted
3 cups crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 small package chopped nuts
1 large tub of Cool Whip
1 jar maraschino cherries
*optional* Chocolate Sauce

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the 1/2 stick of melted margarine and
graham cracker crumbs. Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9 x 13"
baking pan and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. In a large bowl,
combine the eggs, 2 cups of melted margarine and confectioners sugar. Mix
those 3 ingredients together using a mixer for 10-15 minutes. Remove
baking pan from freezer and spread this mixture over top of the graham
cracker crumbs. Slice bananas on top and then add the drained crushed
pineapple. Cover pineapple with Cool Whip and sprinkle chopped nuts and
cherries on top. Cover pie and refrigerate for 6 hours before serving. If
desired, you can serve chocolate sauce over top of the pie but don't add
it until 15 minutes before serving the pie to your guests.

No-Bake Banana Pudding Dessert

1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers
4-5 bananas
2 (4-ounce) boxes vanilla or banana cream instant pudding mix
3 cups of cold milk
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Pour boiling water over the cucumbers and let sit overnight.
The next day, drain the cucumbers and pack into clean canning jars.

Combine the following ingredients in a large saucepan and boil for 5 minutes:
7 cups cider vinegar
5 cups Splenda granular
1 3/4 cups sugar
6 tbsp salt
3 tbsp celery seed
3 tbsp mustard seed
6 tsp tumeric
Green food coloring, optional

Pour the hot mixture over the cucumbers in the jars. Have jar lids boiling
in water. Seal the jars with the hot lids. Process in boiling water bath
for 5 minutes to seal well.

BELL PEPPER RELISH

18 green bell peppers
18 red bell peppers
18 medium onions
6 cups vinegar
3 tbsps salt
1 cup sugar
4 cups Splenda granular
1 tbsp whole mustard seed
8 stalks celery, finely chopped

Put the bell peppers and the onions in a food processor until fine. Cover
the mixture with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes; drain. Add the
vinegar, salt, sugar, Splenda, mustard seed, and celery; mix well. Put
the mixture in a large pan and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes and
immediately seal into hot pint jars. Be sure the lids seal. If any jar
doesn't seal, refrigerate and use first.

Note: These pickles and relish make great gifts for diabetics. They are
perfect housewarming gifts, hostess gifts, birthday or holiday gifts.

For all my fellow Dynamic Producer members & music producers
who are shopping tracks their own tracks in general...

I've spent hundreds of hours screening music for various A&R's, Artists
and Companies. When I pick beats to submit I'm almost always basing the
choice off the groove of the track. Whether it's the groove of the melody,
sample or drums. The groove is whats most important to me. If the groove
isnt really there, it has to be some kinds of track that hits so hard,
everyone from other rooms start walking by the office to see who's in
there. I've seen it happen a bunch of times. Interns will start coming
out of the woodwork to just hang around and not really do anything.

And if you are gonna go the pop/r&b route, your mixes ABSOLUTELY MUST
sound pro level. Without a pro sounding mix, unless you have some melodies
or a song that is CRAZY, the track is going to get passed over. There is
really no excuse to not have a pro level mix on ANY type of tracks, but
for any kind og pop stuff, it is absolutely unforgivable.
